Bank of England raises rates for the 7th<\/sup> time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last night the Bank of England hiked its key interest rate by 50 basis point to 2.25% as the global fight against inflation continues.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asian stocks closed red last night.\u00a0 The Nikkei 225 (-0.58%), Hang Seng (-1.61%), Shanghai (-0.27%) and the BSE Sensex (-1.56%) were all red.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Europe didn\u2019t fare any better with the FTSE100 (-0.57%), DAX (-1.57%), CAC 40 (-1.43%), and he Stoxx600 (-1.51%).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SPX500 is still in downtrend as with most global indexes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
